It is a fifteen minute video, but it is really informative.  When we take a closer look at new records in all types of sports, we need to peel away the advances in technology to see if we have truly advanced.  Are humans truly faster, higher, or stronger?  Or has advancement in equipment really changed the game?  Are we physically changing to fit the demands of a particular sport?  How does your body type affect your sports performance?

If you enjoyed this brief video, then you would really enjoy his full length book called: “The Sports Gene”, Inside the Science of Extraordinary Athletic Performance.  (I did)
